Greetings,

It's already time for the second meet of the season! We will (virtually) swim Windsor Great Park tomorrow night, July 13th! Because we are in the same division, this will be the first meet of the year that contributes to the team's year-end record. That being said, it is a great opportunity for our swimmers to get excited and throw down some fast times! The meet will be held at Indigo Park, as will the remainder of dual meets given the social distancing restrictions. Swimmers and families need to be at the pool by 5:15 pm before warmups at 5:30. The meet will begin at 6 pm. If owned, swimmers should wear their team suits and team caps. Even though we won't be facing Windsor head-on, we should still show up with team spirit!

As mentioned throughout the season, we are still trying to limit the number of people on deck as much as possible to promote distancing. You are more than welcome go on deck to cheer on your swimmer(s) and their friends, but please return to the parking lot frequently to allow others to do the same.

This will be the protocol for the rest of the virtual meets this season, which are as follows:

- July 20th vs. Villages of Westminster

- July 27th vs. Powhatan Secondary

- August 1st, Summer Awards (Tentative, optional meet)

- August 9th VPSU Championships (Tentative, requires qualifying times)
