Indigo Park Updates Week of June 14

    Hello Indigo Park family,

It has been an interesting two weeks of practices so far with all of the inclement weather. We are hoping that this week will be better, and the forecast looks promising! That being said, for this last week of afternoon practices we are going to flip-flop the 11 and up practice and the 10 and under practice to try and make sure that the younger swimmers have enough time in the water, since they have missed quite a lot of time in the past two weeks. So, we will have pup-rays from 4:30-5:00pm, as usual, followed by the 10-and-unders from 5:00-6:00pm and 11-and-up from 6:00-7:00pm

This week we will be doing time trials during practices on Wednesday the 16th, so we can get an idea of who will be swimming which events at the upcoming meet on Monday June 21st (also the first day of morning practices) and to prepare the swimmers to race.

Finally, today is the start of the second wave of the Olympic Trials in Omaha. NBC sports has information on the schedule and how to live stream all of the events here. William and Mary has two swimmers competing at Wave II of the trials. Missy Cundiff, a rising senior, won the 50 freestyle during the first wave earlier this month, so she will be competing in the event in Wave II. Colin Wright, a 2020 graduate, will be competing in the 50 freestyle and the 100 freestyle. Let us know if you watch any of the events!

We hope to see you all at practice this week to prepare for our first swim meet!
