Hello Indigo Park Stingrays, 

Welcome to the 2022 summer swim season at Indigo Park! This email has a lot of important information about the upcoming season, so please take time to read through it all. 

Indigo Park Practice Schedule:

May 31 - June 10 (afternoon) 

13+ up: 4 - 4:45 PM

8+ under and Puprays: 4:45-5:15 PM

9-12 year-olds: 5:15-6:00 PM

June 11 - July 19 (morning) 

13+ up: 8:15-9:15 AM

9-12 year-olds: 9:15-10:15 AM

8+ Under: 10:15-11:00 AM

Puprays: 10:30-11:00 AM

We are in Division 3 of the Virginia Peninsula Swim Union (https://vpsu.swimtopia.com/). Our meet schedule is below, and you can find it on our Swimtopia website (https://indigoparkstingrays.swimtopia.com/). We have Monday night swim meets every week from June 13 - July 18, except for the swim meet after July 4th, which will be Tuesday, July 5th.

Meet Schedule:

• Tuesday, July 5th 
• Monday, July 11th 
• Monday, July 18th 

The Summer Awards Swim Meet will be on Saturday, July 23rd. Summer Awards is an all-day swim meet, split up into two sessions (morning and afternoon). It is the last chance for swimmers to qualify for the Championship Swim Meet. 

The Championship Swim Meet will be on Saturday, July 30th. Champs is an all-day swim meet, split up into two sessions. Swimmers need to qualify in an event to swim it at Champs. 

Finally, our Team Banquet and Paper Plate Awards will be held during the week leading up to the Summer Awards Swim Meet. The exact date and time is TBD. 

I'm back as Indigo Park's head coach and am excited for another summer of swimming and fun! Our assistant coach this summer is Evan Utne who is finishing up his first year at Virginia Tech. We're looking forward to our first swim practice on Tuesday, May 31st!
