Stingray Season is STARTING this week
Hello Stingrays!!! Some important information to share as we start the season!
1. Parents-> Join the Official Team
It takes a village...to run a swim meet...so drop your pitchforks, come in from the field, grab your white shirt and shoe-like footwear...and blue shorts - join the official team. While your days of Speedo-wearing may be over, you can still stand poolside and contribute to the future swimmers of America...be an official for our swim team. We need at least 6 officials (Head Referee/Chief Judge, Starter, 4 Stroke & Turn) to run a meet and do it well...so, what do you say? At this point, we need just a few folks to cover Stroke & Turn.
There are training opportunities for new and current Stroke & Turn officials coming up to help prepare us for the season:
5/30 -- 6-9 PM at Kingsmill Mounts Bay Pool
6/1 -- 7-9 PM at Powhatan Secondary (201 Charterhouse Lane)
6/3 -- 5-7 PM at Ford's Colony Swim & Tennis Club (St Andrews Drive)
6/5 -- 7-9 PM at Queens Lake Clubhouse (234 East Queens Drive)
6/10 -- 9 - Noon - Coaches and Meet Referee Meeting at Kingswood Clubhouse (111 Spring Rd)
