Hello Stingrays,

We are nearing the end of the 2023 summer swim season. With that comes the VPSU Summer Awards swim meet and the VPSU Championship swim meet. 

A little information about each meet:

• Both meets are on Saturdays (Summer Awards on 7/22 & Champs on 7/28)
• Summer Awards is for swimmers who HAVE NOT yet qualified for Champs. Any swimmer can swim in an event that they have NOT made the qualifying time for.
• Champs is for any swimmer who HAS qualified (PDF with each age groups' qualifying times is attached) AND has attended at least three regular season dual swim meets. 

I have attached a PDF with more information about this year's Summer Awards meet which is being held at Ford's Colony. I need to know by this Thursday, July 13th, if your swimmer(s) would like to compete at Summer Awards.

I am working on compiling a Google Sheet with all of our swimmers' best times and if they have qualified for Champs in an event. Before that is complete, you can look at your swimmers' best times on Swimtopia and look at the Champs qualifying times PDF to see if your swimmer has qualified. The deadline for Champs entries will be coming soon, so let me know ASAP if your swimmer qualifies and would like to compete.
